I finished the Stress program last June and I can't say enough what a huge help it has been, but a month ago I was diagnosed with gluten sensitivity and I have been reading about it and apparently my anxiety seems to be physical due to gluten sensitivity. It was actually thanks to a book that someone one recommended on this web site that ended in my diagnosis. I wonder, do you handle anxiety that has medical causes differently? I also wonder how many people with anxiety don't know they have gluten intolerance.
For the past month I cut out gluten entirely from my diet and I feel much better, much less anxious, yet the anxiety is not entirely gone.
I thought I would post this in case anyone else was interested or struggling with the connection between gluten intolerance and anxiety.
Also, for women apparently polycystic ovary syndrome causes anxiety as well.
