I could really use some help I started a new job and I'm not crazy about it. Yesterday at work I started feeling funny and my heart feels like its stopping and starting!!! I can also have stomach quivers etc. I can't quit taking my pulse and I'm afraid that I'm dying or that my heart is in trouble it feels like I can feel my heart skipping I have obssesed all day about this going over countless websites that say stress and anxiety will give you that froggy heart feeling!!! it comes and goes but it sends me into a PA. Please help!

It's ok to be anxious. I'm ok.
Body symptoms are uncomfortable, but there is no danger.
I have tools to control panic.
I can handle sad feelings.
I am my safe place. I am home.
It's ok to relax now.
I can share my feelings and thoughts.
It always passes.
I am strong, courageous and capable.
My new skills are working.
DEAL WITH PANICKY FEELINGS
1. ACCEPT-float don't fight.
2. PERMISSION - I know what this is.
3. BREATHE - inhale 2, exhale 4 ( see session two in guidebook ).
4. INNER DIALOGUE - positive, comforting.
5. DISTRACT - action, mental and physical for at least fifteen minutes.
6. LET TIME PASS -discomfort always passes.
Use these six steps for waves of sadness, anger, worry , etc.
