Weird "Out of It" Feeling

Hello all! Recently I restarted the program, because I was feeling stressed and very anxious lately. I finished the program about a couple months ago. I just went through a very stressful month, where I constantly stressed and worrying! :( But I resolved what I was worrying about! :) I think that constantly feeling stressed 24/7 for almost 2 months may have caused this feeling that I am experiencing! It's just a weird "out of it" feeling that I can't figure out how to describe! I guess "out of it" is the best I can do! I was wondering if I am feeling this because I was sooo sooo stressed for such a long period of time and this is the side affect from it and it will go away with time? I just want some feedback on this! Has anyone else been through a similar experience??
Thanks!!
~PF

Although I haven't yet finished the program. I do get that "out of it" feeling sometimes. I will say it is getting less and less often. I beleive it is associated with the anxiety! I have noticed it more when I am anxious or letting myself stress out about things. When you feel that way I would treat it as a panick attack and see if helps it fade faster :)

I think I heard lucinda talk about a spacy out of it feeling. After I went through a major episode of panick and depression I had it for months. It really scared me and I thought itd never go away. Sometimes when Im stressed out or feel depressed it happens but not as bad as it used to. Use your skills and distract yourself and it will go away.

Thanks so much, Nel! That really helps me to know that someone else had it for a long time too! :)

Sounds like an anxious episode or panic attack. I used to have these same
feelings all of the time. I felt spacey and out of it. It was all caused by stress and panic.
Unfortunately I had to "crash and burn" before I got any help with my anxiety / stress / depression.
I did not have the tools to deal with it at the time it was happening. I honestly did not even
know what was happening ! I wish I knew then what I know now :)
