Stress Center Peer Support

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced more anxiety while on antibiotics. I was just saying the other day how well I've been doing on the program and then I was put on antibiotics (strong antibiotics) about 4 days ago for an absessed wisdom tooth and I'm starting to feel anxious again. I'm having a hard time relaxing and that is the only thing that I can think of that could be causing it. I still get anxious episodes sometimes but these seem a little harder to stop. Any one experienced this?

WOW, you just made me think. Im not sure if antibiotics can make you a lot more anxious BUT i know what you mean. It never crossed my mind but this previous week i was sick and i was taking antibiotics and i started to freak out. Maybe youve got something hear. It never even crossed my mind. Now that im off the antibiotics im not getting any anxious episodes. Im not a Doctor but im guessing that either they do get you jittery or that its our anxiety making us THINK that there going to make us jittery. Even then remember ITS JUST ANXIETY, itll go as fast as it came!

I know what you mean. I had a sinus infection and was on strong antibiotics and the same thing happened to me. It went away in a couple weeks
