I've just started Session #2. I do the breathing exercises and it seems to work some times. I take Zoloft and Xanax and I hate taking medication. The Xanax works for a short time. The mornings are my worst. I feel nurvos in the mornings. About going to work. I'am a Corrections officer and believe me that's not a good place to show you are nurvos. I feel light headed all day and wish it would stop. Any ideas I'am willing to try anything.

Kevin,
i've been were you are. All i can tell you is to stick with the program and don't give up. It really works, but it take some time to start being effective. Just hang in there, and be patient. You will start to see results in a few weeks that will boost your confidence. The most important thing you can do right now is listen to your relax tape at least three time a day, more if you need to. You don't have to do the excersises all three time, just at bed time. This is important because what you need the most is to learn how to relax. Believe me, i no it sounds far fetched at first, but it really does work.

You honestly have to give the program a little time to work!!!!
As you go through the program, listen to the relaxation CD, replace that negative thinking with more positive realistic thinking, and do the deep breathing exercises, you will find your anxiety level decreasing, and sooo will your symptoms...
Hang in there...You can do it...God Bless
