Stress Center Peer Support

I wish I could just take away
the uncertainty I feel today
in the mind, in my head
I am so sick of feeling nothing but dread
dread of the unknown
of my health and the future
It could be what I hear
in these times in this culture
I worry about my family
and where I'll be next year
the holidays are coming
and they won't be full of cheer
will I say the right things
in front of people in a crowd
hey, wait a minute,
what if I instead said this aloud
I love my life
and everyone in it
worry will not affect me anymore
not one little bit
what ever happens to me
or the people I love
I can handle with pride
with a little help from up above
i am healthy and strong
I truly believe
every breath is a treasure
from here to enternity
I will say want I believe
and not worry I am going to die
go with each and every feeling
from my toes up to my eyes
I will not be scared
of the pounding heart and fear
just keep listening to Lucinda's tapes
and there will be no more tears
It can be done
for each one of us
as long as you have the perseverance
anxiety will be left in the dust!

This is truly a beautiful poem that says it all. I'm usually terrible with poetry, can't understand half of it. But I understand everything here, appreciate every line, every thought.
