Hi guys..wondering if anyone out there has had success with session 3 and if so, about how long until you start to believe the positibve replacement thoughts and how long til the anxiety goes down? Ive heard it takes about a month. Ive been doing it consistently for a week but still don't notice any changes...and also how often should i be writing my thoughts down? Ive been doing about 15-20 min a day. Is that enoough? I really want to get better...but still feeling a bit hopeless. Trying to stay positive. Worried that because my upbringing was so dysfunctional..that I have too many problems and wont get better..any feedback would be great. Thansk guys!

Hey Jules,
The changes you are looking for vary from person to person. You may want to look at the small steps instead of the big picture. When I was doing session 3 I found that once I noticed a bit of success with one negative thought the others fell in place shortly after. When you say that you are doing about 15-20 minutes a day what do you mean? How often you should be writting down your thoughts is whenever you have a negative thought. You may feel like you dont have enough time but, start by just jotting down a breif idea so you can fill in the blanks when you do have the time.
Listen to your relaxation cd every day and as often as you can. By doing that you will see that your thoughts will become less and less every day!
