Other Bloggers who hurt me in the past.

I like to blog on forums, but one time I made a complaint and someone made a sarcastic remark and I went to the extreme.
I got mad and it became a flame-war. Then that person blocked me, I tried to apologize...but the person was STILL acting like a jerk and made my e-mail into spam. If I ever met that person...I'd want to slap the person very hard...but since I don't know the ones that hurt me on the internet...what do I do?

Let your anger go. You don't even know this person. Remember that we are taught "resolve it or dissolve it" when it comes to anger. This isn't something worth getting yourself upset over. My husband goes on Yahoo forums a lot to argue politics and he says a lot of the comments are vicious. I stay away from stuff like that--no use to upset myself and you have no idea what kind of person you are dealing with. So don't take it personally and just move on to something that will bring some happiness to your life. Anyway, that is my two cents worth since you asked for advice. Hope it helps some.

Good Advice! I was posting on a FB account and someone starting slamming something I said that had nothing to do with the topic, and I had been nice to this person, she just had an agenda or something else. Now I don't post anything directly at her and also FB from another postee had alerted that this person was being vicious and not following the rules of FB, so all her "hate" postings were deleted and she was probably warned. I don't know how blogs work though.
I do like your saying or motto, "resolve it or dissolve it", I will keep that in my memory for future frustrations. But it is good to be able to write about it to dissolve it or resolve it in a safe place. P

Hey Paisleygreen,
I can't take credit for that quote. It is our session on anger, Number 6 I think. The little carry along card has printed on it "Resolve it, dissolve it, and let it go." I think Lucinda is spot on about that. Anger will consume you and it isn't worth carrying it around , letting it eat away at you. So she says either do something about it to clear up the situation, forget about it if you can't remedy it and move on with the rest of your life.

Thanks, Samcat, maybe that's why that is so familiar...

I haven't listened to her CDs for a while, I've been out living my life this summer compared to last summer when I had my first panic attack. So her CDs have done the job along with a lot of "work". I've had to let go of a lot of stuffed feelings, actually feel feelings first to let go of them. Plus let go of future plans and physical items. Been doing a lot of "letting go", it sure is hard.

But still very good advice!
