Yes. You are OK. Keep exercising and feeling those feelings until you are no longer worried about them. As you learn to breathe with exercise your breathing should mellow out.
If you have concerns about your heart - go get it checked out (and I'm sure you will learn that it is not the problem). Then you no longer need to worry about that and you can just focus on the fun of exercise.

I have them all the time and have had every test they offer for the human heart.....They have found nothing wrong. Like Boon said I would see a Doctor just to make sure, but chances are everything is fine. One other thing, I know it feels like your heart is skipping a beat, Its really an extra beat in between 2 regular beats. I have them all the time...They are scary at times but I have been told they are harmless.
God Bless,

I exercise regularly and definetly get palpitations from time to time. It tends to be worse if I had a stressful day or if I havent excerised for a week. Believe me there is nothing to worry about. I have even got the palpitations caught on an EKG and the doctors told me they were normal. Get checked out by your doctor and if he saids you are okay dont give it a second thought. The more you exercise the less it will happen..Good Luck!!
