Beautiful Day but....

Do you ever wake up to an absolutely beautiful morning like I did today and are really depressed because you can't even enjoy it because of this STUPID anxiety? An absolutely gorgeous day today, I'm riding to work through green horse pastures and I'm miserable because I'm feeling pretty shaky this morning. Then I start to think back to when I could really enjoy a day like this which really bums me out. Hopefully the day will improve.

I thought about that a couple of times, and just stopped because i never thought it was ever going to happen again, but that is that negative side of me. Im on session one first week, and after hearing all of this, that day will come before we know!
Try to have a good one ! That all we can do.

John remember when in session 3 Lucinda says that just because the day started bad it doesnt have to go for the rest of the day, week etc. But if you start obsessing with when it is going to end, you talk yourself into it. While you have to be talking yourself out of it.I know it is much easier to say that tnan to do it, but that's what it is. So try to step out of it and enjoy the rest of the day.

John61, I understand completely, I have those type of days right now, the weather is gorgeous and I don't have energy to go outside and play in my garden. My number one joys in life. But each day is different and I have to pace myself so that I don't overdo when I do feel good, because I then get very sore muscles and tired and a vicious cycle appears. I think I overdo due to "stress" of telling myself I have to get this done...probably some negative thinking going on that makes me overdo something.
Good posting from others reminding us about what Lucinda has to say about bad mornings. Paislee
