Stress Center Peer Support

Is there anyone who at times here voices. I take the medication resperdone which helps to stop the voices. Are there others who may have similar problems, also my personality will change. Example I act like a teenager, or I become silly. Is there anyone who has gone through taughts like this Please respond.

Hello. I am sorry you are going through this. I have heard of this happening to other people although it has never happened to me. Risperidone is often used to treat this. My mother used to take this until her symptoms switched a little and then she was placed on another type of medication. I can't offer any advice as I haven't gone through this, but I am hoping some others here can offer some suggestions. You may also wish to post this on the forum boards under "depression". Some people just post in that section of the forums. Good luck and know that many people have what you are going through. Work with your doctor or therapist on this and you'll conquer it in time.
