Hi, Everyone

My name is Josephine. My mom purchased the program for me a year ago. I started out with week one and then I slacked off and now wish to restart the program and am listening and doing the Introduction. I thought maybe I would take notes to keep myself motivated. Maybe the notes will make me see something maybe I have missed. I noticed something in the in the Introduction Guidebook on page 4 it says:
In addition to our helpful Stress Center Program Specialists, there are also more advanced levels of support available to you. So if you are stuggling to make strides: if you find that fear, lack of motivation or procrastination is holding you back from reaching your ultimate goal, call one of our Program Specialists and discuss the advanced support options available.
What I would like to know what are these advanced levels of advanced support and why isn't there a section on the Introduction part alone on here? do they cost anything? Are there other materials that are not included in the Program that you have to purchase seperately?? If there are other materials that you have to purchase seperately for this program how come there isn't a section on the site to view these materials??? Please someone answer me.

I just feel stuck and have lack of motivation. I also deal with PCOS and bipolar depression. I would like to have someone that I could talk to that is dealing with the same issues. I am housebound and at times it is hard for me to leave the house because of feeling Social Anxiety. I have no job either right now and need some help to get some insurance so I can go see a doctor. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Please I need motivation and energy. I feel a lack of energry to get me motivated. Hopefully someone will reply.

Thanks, Josephine

Hi Josephine! Welcome! Yes, you will be able to get some type of help here through posting and hopefully others will post back if they have an answer. I'm not familiar with what the website offers with the Program as I was able to get the CDs, not workbook or DVDs from my sister who wasn't using them at the time. Nor did she go past the first couple of CDs.

There are people that come here that are Bi-Polar, so I hope they can help you out as well. All I can tell you is that by working the program and posting on here will help you in some way, it has helped me immensely. I still listen to the CDs when I need to and usually it is everyday or it is a different CD each day or other day. I still have "pencil" work to do and I need to read what is on the Carry Along Cards. I've read them once that was posted here and I was able to get my sister's just recently.

So you will feel better...I'm in the same boat, we own our own business and recently had our insurance cancelled, not that they paid much for mental health or anything else. That is what happens when you are self-employed. So I pay to see a Therapist twice a month to work on some issues, the Psychologist is very good and works with me using CBT in his counseling.

Another resource that is helpful is Dr David Burns Good Mood Therapy Workbook called 10 Steps to Self Esteem. It really helped me before I heard of Lucinda. Take care...Paislee :)

Dear, Paisleegreen

Thanks for replying back. It helps when we try to help each other out since we are all dealing with Anxiety, Panic Attacks or Depression. Sounds pretty good. I will have to take a look at the Dr. David Burns Mood Therapy Workbook that you suggested that also helped you. I will try my best to work on what the program suggests I might just call the number in the Indroduction Booklet about that information in that section.

Sorry to hear that your business didn't do so well. I hope things will start to get better. Today am in a much better mood. I've got to do some of what is suggested in the Indroduction portion of. Replacing Negative Self-Talk with Positive Self-Talk. Do you have a facebook page or yahoo messenger maybe we could talk to each other every so often for encouragement.

Thanks again for replying back it means a lot.

Take Care Bye for now
