Blizzard of 2011

Yea I made it through the Chicago blizzard of 2011. It only took 12 hours to clear our driveway of 20 inches of snow with 6 foot drifts! Talk about feeling trapped. Had two extremely bad panic attacks but lived. Hope everyone else is okay that went through this.

Hello Hope,
I am so happy that you are okay and got through that blizzard. We had snow here as well but not nearly as much as you had. I am similar to you. If I get too much snow I feel trapped - like I can't get out. That used to bother me a lot, but I finally resigned myself to the snow, changed my way of thinking and it doesn't bother me as much now. It still does, but not as much. The feeling of being trapped really affects a lot of us, you are not alone. Take care.

Flyer99 and Paislee thanks. It is all over and now just cold. At least we're not trapped anymore.
