Really Bad Panic Attack

Hello out there, its been a long time since Ive posted on here. I just had to talk about my horrible panic attack I had this morning. I have not had one in a long time, but the last few days mentally have been tough. I literally woke up in a panic attack, and a horribly bad one at that. Sometimes I can control them and slow them down and get myself out of it, but this morning I could not :( None of my usual methods worked. Luckily I knew that I could call my best friend (who also suffers from them) and she could take me through it. She was able to, and I was eventually able to go back to sleep. I am grateful that I am blessed w/such a good friend. I also went out w/another one of my great friends and go out of the house and my own head for awhile. It was such a good feeling to get out of "it". Anyways I just wanted to share. Thanks for listening :)

Hi Alisha,

Isn't it nice to have a friend that understands that you can turn to? I used to hold everything inside and not tell anyone of my condition. I finally decided that, what the heck, I didn't care who knew. Funny thing, many people I talked with had the same thing I did and now we help each other out. Thanks for sharing and I hope everything is okay now!
