Stress Center Peer Support

I know this may be a dumb question to ask but i was wondering.. are there certain tests a psychiatrist or doctor can run on your mind and body to see if the pill doesn't harm you? I ask this because when i last tried "Pexeva" an antidepressant i had uncontrollable shakes. I have taken this medication WITH xanax before in the past and it never hurt me but now i cannot take it. I am so afraid to try a new antidepressant worrying about the side effects. Can they really harm you ?

The number one thing i want is to get on an antidepressant that will stop depression and anxiety and also give modivation and definitly NOT make me gain weight.

Maybe ask your Dr about "strattera" along with Pristiq.
I think they all screw us up some.Some worse than others.
Hope you find one that allows you to rebuild yourself and see the good things that we can change that is positive and forward looking.
