Your home looks like a very peaceful and lovely place. Really like your front porch. Enjoy soaking up the sunshine!

Aaaaww thank you Silverlining!!! I am more "partial" to my back porch because it is more isolated and is sooooo very peaceful!!! Between the sounds of the "musical" wind chimes, the flowing water and the chirping birds; I feel like I am at a creek bank somewhere!!! I love nature!!!

The front porch is a dramatic contrast to my back porch!!! It really is difficult to sit on two porches at the same time and I am always on the back one...Teeeee HEEEEEE!!!

The front porch is much more modernized, but I love the log cabin look!!! Therefore, I much prefer my back porch to my front..lolololol..

That could be why that I am so low on vitamin D ;)!!!

Hey! I run low on Vitamin D too?! Oh well, we do what we can and leave the rest to God. :)

Hope you have a blessed day. And get to enjoy that porch!!!

That is a GREAT idea!!! I love it!!! I believe in just uploading all of my problems onto God's strong shoulders, but I do feel sorry for our Creator, because I upload so many!!!

Have a beautiful day filled with much sunshine, joy and laughter!!!

Mrs T Bones,
Beautiful home and land. I live in a loghome on 5 acres of land. Our land is more rural looking than yours. I LOVE smilebox, when my daughter was stationed in Japan and Iraq, I used to send her smilebox creations all the time, aren't they great? I am so jealous of your swing. I've been wanting one for years. Thanks for sharing!

Hi lovemoose, :) :) :)
It sure does sound like you live on a very beautiful plot of land and log cabins are my very favorite homes!!! God truly has blessed you, my friend!!!

Yes, I love "smilebox" as well!!! I have sent many creations using this service too!!! I have an aunt who lives in North Carolina and she absolutely loves for me to share these type of things with her!!!

I pray that all is going well with you!!! Blessings to you and your family!!!

That's a beautiful piece of land you have ! The scenery is amazing. I live in the city, so my lot is much much much much smaller, but I keep it looking good. How close is your nearest neighbour ? I remember a commercial on TV a few years back. It was for mayonnaise. It took place out in the country. The wife was making turkey sandwiches for lunch and she ran out of mayonnaise. She made her husband get on the tractor and go to the neighbour's house to borrow some. By the time he drove there and back, it was bedtime. I thought that was funny !

Also, I don't remember the last time I saw a deer head on the wall. It looks like he tried to leave your house and got scared and missed the door ! LOL Sorry about that...I couldn't resist ! LOLOLOL You can also tell you are in a warmer climate because you have a kitchen on your porch ....stove and all ! That's neat !

....but where's the dirt farm ???? ...kidding again ! LOLOLOL

Hi manofmusic :) :) :),
My brother lives across the pond from us..lol..that is about 500 feet!!! We have neighbors, but they are scattered throughout our community...Teeee HEEE!!!

My hubby sure likes playing on the tractor, but so far, he hasn't had to drive it to pick up mayonnaise..lolololol...and our living room has at least 3 more deer on the walls...they are big bucks, though!!! My hubby usually don't mount the smaller ones, like the one on my back porch..he is more into 10-12 pointers...teee heee..

My hubby is having some back problems, right now, so I am going to set him up an appt. with a back specialist..supposed to have done that one today, but something came up..UGH!!! So, that one will be on my agenda for tomorrow morning...

Sorry, but we don't own a dirt farm!!! We do raise a huge garden, though!!! We raise it waaay down in the boondocks!!! it is like 2 miles from here and you sure can hear the coyotes down there..We have a fence surrounding it, to keep the deer and other animals from eating (it all up)..like the little wolf did..Teee Heeee..

And that garden means a lot of canning and freezing..i don't do nearly as much canning, as I do freezing, because freezing is sooo much easier..lol..

The climate is pretty good around here!!! Of course, we do have winter and that is just around the corner!!!

That stove is used to cook on during the summer months..lol..i absolutely hate to stay indoors during the summer months..i use the stove and an outside grill to cook my meals and we eat a lot of them on that back porch!!!

Country life is sooooooo much fun!!! We only drive about 2-3 miles to camp out!!! And we live very, very close to the Red River Gorge, so that means we are within walking distance to the beautiful Red River Falls!!! So, it is all very, very good!!!

Our small town is around 5 miles from here!!! We do have some conveniences over there..lolololol..a lot has changed around here, because these used to be trails, instead of roads..

I do not ride on a horse and buggy, but I sure would love to!!! I think it would be a good idea to buy us a buggy, so I could go buggy riding...ROFL...

Have a great night manofmusic!!! Isn't it weird how all of us come from many different places in the world, yet we all meet up on this Stress center??? Wild stuff, huh???

Nice hearing from ya manofmusic!!!

Talking about the boondocks brought this song to my mind, since I have always loved it, because I really was born and raised down in the boondocks..lolololol..

I think all of us "hillbillies" love this song...TEEEEE HEEEE!!!

It is a "secular" song, but I do enjoy a "variety" of music!!!

Enjoy this song everyone... Down in the Boondocks!!!
