Hello,
I started new job a few months back after finishing a term position at another job that I had really enjoyed (and wish I could have stayed) A woman was coming off disability and was placed in my term position, so I guess it wasn't meant to be.
From the outside, the new job seemed awesome, it came with all these perks and a great salary. Well, all I can say is that this is the first time in eight years that I have disliked going to work every morning. My boss is a very different woman, I have a feeling she might even be manic. She is all over the place and quite disorganized. I received VERY minimal training and this is causing me a lot of frustration, I also have very little support. I assertively brought up these points to her a couple months back and it seemed like she wanted to help me. But nothing has really changed since then. On top of that, she has started to nit pick my work and I had a VERY unpleasant Friday, feeling as if I could do nothing right for her. I'm so scared of getting fired, there's no union to back me up and it seems at this place, they fire people rather quickly. So that's causing me some anxiety.
I've started looking for other work but I'm having a really hard time finding suitable job postings.
Anyway, just needed to get that off my chest.
Thanks,
Jo
