I wonder if this happens to anyone else. I am recovering from the flu, and although I have been doing well with anxiety and panic attacks, now that I still don't feel well, I am having anxiety at times and places that I thought I had already dealt with and "conquered", so to speak. I feel like I have taken many steps backwards, and I'm feeling "fragile and shaky". Is it just because I am still recovering? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Thanks

Hi, I can relate to this. I am anxious by nature and seem to have almost everything under control. However, during and after having a cold or flu, my anxiousness seems to increase. It's most likely all the weakness and soreness we get and it gets us all anxious and stressed. You are not alone in having these feelings. Having an illness is a very stressful time and this will certainly raise our anxiety levels and give us all kinds of wierd and wonderful symptoms. You will be back to your old self in no time. Don't think you have taken a step backward... it's just the illness. Take care!

I'm getting over bronchitis, sinunitis- my 3rd round of antibiotics. Sigh, my anxiety has shot through the roof. Steps backwards, kicking myself over and over. However, it is getting better each day and I know it will for you too. Hang in there!
