Hey there,

I lost my card that I think is either #1 or #2, its purpose is to carry around with you and refer to when you are feeling anxious. It has things like "float, don't panic", "this too shall pass" written on it.

I'm wondering if one of you wouldn't mind typing out the contents of that card....I'd like to re-create it with my own note card (since I lost the other one).

hi,buffy,glad to help.you can also find a listing on pg 29 of your guidebook for a better understanding. 1.ACCEPT-float dont fight. 2.PERMISSION-i know what this is. 3.BREATH-2/4 see session 2. 4.INNER DIALOGUE-positive,comforting. 5.DISTRACT-action,mental and physical for at least 15 min. 6.LET TIME PASS-discomfort always passes.use these six steps for waves of sadness,anger,worry,etc. FEAR-False Evidince Appearing Real side 2-its ok to be anxious.im ok. body symptoms are uncomfortable,but there is no danger. i have tools to control panic. i can handle sad feelings. i am my safe place, i am home. its ok to relax now. ican share my feelings and thoughts. it always passes. i am strong,courageous,and capable. my knew skills are working. best of luck on your journey.
