Hi all,
I've been on the road to recovery for awhile now and that is a good thing. My life has been full of trials and struggles the past 5 years. I know in the program and in Lucinda's book she talks about how even when we have excitement from good things, our body reacts to the adrenelin the very same way. My body does the same thing.
I can get excited about something new or get emotionally excited from a movie and have body symptoms. I tell myself that it's just my adrenelin- and it usually subsides in a while.
The thing is that lately there have been alot of really good things happening in my life- unbelievable things, opportunities to speak to others, etc.... and the excitement about it is almost too much for my body too handle. I have to be careful to take some time to rest and stay calm.
Does this ever get better or is my body just super sensative to stimulus. It was never that way before i had the anxiety/panic a few years ago. But since i had my nervous breakdown/serious anxiety 4 yrs ago, I am so sensative to even 'good' adrenelin.
Is there any way to get over this or help my body to get accustomed to this. Is it a medical issue?
I am very happy to have good things happening in my life- I just wish I could enjoy it a little more without suffering the body symptoms.
