Stress Center Peer Support

I have not been going to chatroom lately because I have been so very busy. I have a lot to deal with, and a very high stressful situation. I have a boarder right now whom is dealing with a peace bond against him, custody, and cancer. I been putting together his case to take to his lawyer. Although misunderstood, I came home read a note and thought he was suicidal. He was not home, it read looked like he was not coming back. I called the police. If his ex lawyer gets a hold of the record for that call the lawyer can use it he may not get his child, she can end up in crownward.

On top of this, I am also dealing with a so called friend whom I did owe money to. He kept putting off until now I owe $250, he went to a law student at a student law office demanding his money. Now the law student is realizing what this man is doing to me. Now this man is doing it to the law student.

Hopefully this will all work out. I am a very smart man. I will stop at nothing to get answers. I hope to figure a way out of this mess. Right now, I can use some prayers.

oh brother john...prayer going up you will be able to pay back friend..maybe have to do without somethg to get your debt paid back. the boarder and calling the police=u sure have stressful outlook, perhaps he has not paid you. it is very hard giving up thgs we think we need, but are actually luxuries. i pray you will figure this out and make the best choices and learn to let go of what is stress producing for you at this time. best to you.

Although I don't know that I can help you directly with your specific situation, I do have a few thoughts to share.

First, take some time to step back and determine which of your concerns are real and which are not, or at least which you might be exaggerated in your own mind. Then try to focus only on those that are true and deal with them as best as you can. And remember to let go of those that aren't true. You don't need to give yourself any additional stress.

Second, we all have choices and responsibilities in life. Sometimes we at least help to create our own problems whereas other times it is completely out of our control. In either case, we have the ability to address these situations and make the best choice from those available. Follow your heart, be completely honest yourself, and you'll surely make the right decision.

Lastly, you asked for prayers. I will say one for you as soon as I hit the post button. I hope it reaches you quickly and helps your situation.

While I was praying, a thought popped into my mind. Perhaps you have already done this, but can you contact the police again and let them know that you misinterpreted the note? At least then there would be two calls on record. Your boarder could then get copies of both and be prepared in the event the issue ever arises in his custody case.
