Has anyone here ever gone through this process due to a mental illness. Mine is BP Disorder. I'm not on disability, and was wondering if an individual has to FIRST qualify for SSDI and then apply for a Total and Permanent Disability Discharge on their student loans.
Also, were you ever able to go back to work in the future afterwards. Or even go back to school at some point?
