It has been almost two years since my last major attack. I got the stomach flu a few days ago and had a panic attack after throwing up. I haven't been able to keep anything down and got IV fluids and anti-nausea meds from the doctor. However, I am much more sick from the anxiety than the flu... I am shaking and fear that my inability to eat will make me even more sick. Can anybody offer me reassurance that I'm not back on the panic track- that this is just a minor bump in the road?

And, yes you are going to be ok. Don't worry you will be just fine.

I'd say that you had 2 good years vs. a few days of crummy from the flu. You can make this comparison by yourself and see that the flu is short and you'll pop back up just fine.
I hope you feel better soon. Eat boring white stuff and lots of liquids and pace yourself. It's OK to take it slow.
