Hi I recently about a month ago started having paralyzing panic attacks. I went to the doc and he prescribed .5mg Ativan a day. It helped but i was now having anxiety attacks. Didn't know what they were and thought i was hanging onto my sanity by a thread. I went and got Lucinda's book, From Panic to Power. It definitly helped. I just ordered the program and am waiting for it to arrive.

Congratulatoins, you took the first step and ordered the program. I was in the same boat as you. I thought I was losing my mind. This program is wonderful. It'll cover every topic and concern that you're dealing with. Lucinda has dealt with the same situations that we went through/are going through and has a knack for explaining the situation and what to do to control the situation. Follow the tapes and do the homework and you can get through this.

Absolutely, best of luck satdown210! We're all in this together. These boards also help in being able to cope and get answers to questions, etc. As you'll learn, breathe and focus to stay in control. You'll find that you're not alone....

Question: I seem to feel anxious a lot in the morning. When I wake I feel like I can't help but feel like I am worried about how I am going to feel for the rest of the day. I seem to wake up with a racing heart. Anyone else like this when waking up?

yes i to get anxious in the morning but some are better than others. what i have started doing is getting up straight away when i wake after a few minutes of getting myself together and not thinking to much. i then get my breakfast and shower. if i get moving and doing things without thinking to much then my anxious feeling are not to bad. if i lay there dwelling on things i wind myself up to panic.

as hard as it is move as soon as you can! take care and good luck..

Thanks for the help. I am not sure if this is just a placebo effect or what but i started taking a vitamin B complex. I read that anxiety can result in a deficiency in Vitamin B. Further research shows that b vitamins work better in conjunction. I feel better when I take it daily. If i forget I seem to feel more tense then I realize I didn't take my supplement.
