Is there a way to report spam and get the users posting off the site? It seems like there has been a number of recent posts all by the same person under different user names that are spam. It would be nice to get this stuff off the site. I think these posts definitely violate Rule 8 in the terms of service.

Perhaps send a PM to Carolyn? Her link is at the top of this forum.

I sent a message to Carolyn. Hopefully she will be able to take care of it.

FYI, I don't know if you used the link at the top of the forums but I think that may be an old profile. I tried reaching Carolyn once using that link and I never received a response. However, when I used her CarolynEd.Dir. profile, which you can get to from the very first post in the main forum, I got a response right away.

I found a temporary solution for those that are interested. You can set up an "ignore list" that will automatically hide selected user names. Click on the "Go" button, select "Personal Zone" and then "Ignore List". Then click the "Add" button to search for and select users to ignore.

The names the user posting this spam is going under are "tttt", "mmmm2010", and "mnbv". There may be more but that's what I've seen so far.

Hello SeaRunner and everyone,

At the bottom of each post there is a small yellow triangle, click it to report a post. By doing this it will send a message to the moderators que where we can go directly to the post in question. From the que we can remove the post and/or suspend the poster as well if deemed necessary.

We are looking for the spammed posts at this time and are removing them one by one however if we miss any and you know where it is, click that triangle and we'll get it asap.

Yes Mike, I've been through the forum/threads you made note of and removed the posts. Also have suspended 3 id's so far in this matter. Searching all forums at this time for anything we may have missed. I saw your post in the tech section also. Thank you!

Wow that is pretty quick action. This is actually the first time seeing this kinda thing in 6 years. Luckily the person only put posts in the first section of the forums.
