Hi everyone, I started the program( 3rd go)a few weeks ago. My life is pretty much a mess. I have anxiety, depression, and recently had my fiancee of 6 years leave me with no money of furniture. Had to start life all over again. We both worked together so I left the job and am now a fulltime student. She waqs my only friend so now I am totally on my own. At 44 years of age that can be a little disheartening, but life must go on. I've suffered with my symtoms for about 32 years or so. I've decided that I want to really live. I want to smell the roses!
It would be nice to get to meet some of you out there, so please write back.

Hey colin you know that is one of the scariest of things for most people, to be alone. I can understand how disheartening, sad and depressing that may be. I've been there myself but it can also be pretty great as you don't really have to worry so much about the expectations of other people and you have a great opportunity to reinvent yourself. You have the complete responsibility for taking charge of your life as it doesn't sound like you're even able to use the excuse that you get attention for the condition. Thats a good thing even though it may not feel that way.

You have us at least and I definately suggest you check the program portion of the forums and look out for the "Challenge" series which will show up in every lesson as we (the people regoing through the program) progress. You can find support there if you need it or some posts that may help you realize key things.

Your friend,

Mike
