Sometimes if I stare at my son I feel like I'm going to forget who he is, or my husband. Or sometimes my house doesn't feel like my house. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi Mommy-
I sometimes still do feel like that, esp. if I wake up from a nap where I have gotten too warm or have to wake up suddenly and then go do something quick like pick up my kids from school, etc. And sometimes I think "oh no- I forget what my husband looks like" or something like that. Like I am missing something in life even though I am living it.
I think the depersonalization is from adrenaline squirts and our brain seeming fuzzy and us freaking out about that not being "normal". It's all fine. The less you stress, the better it is.

I can tell you, with my mind, I forget who ppl are all the time. Ppl I've knonw my whole life. The things that I see everyday, and places like my home or grandparents, i'll never forget. Unless I have some sort of brain injury, but I've been there and done that too.

Thanks, I was just feeling a little "weird". Needed some reassurance.
