Stress Center Peer Support

Hi My name is Diana, and I rec'd the lessons 4 wks ago. However I have been
unable to get started the way you have things set up. Right now I am having
a really hard time scheduling a set day-by-day plan in order to work the
program in a set number of weeks. So far...I have listened to CD 3 - 4 - and
the welcome CD. I have done a bit of reading in the book kinda browsing
through the welcome section and reading the first section and answering most
of the questions. My question is....does this have a TIME LIMIT????? I
mean.....if I can't get my mind straight enough to work this the way you
have it set up.......will it not work????? Will I lose online privleges
after a certain period of time?????? etc...... Thank you for your
help.....Diana

Foreverhopeful, I would suggest that you call in to get an answer much faster and speak to an actual person. It seems difficult to get certain answers.

Hi Diana and welcome, the way the program is set up and the schedule is a suggested time frame you do not have to rush through to get it done in a certain amount of time. It is just a suggestion on how you can manage your time to get going on the program each lessons takes a week a couple I spent 2 weeks on just because I felt I needed more time on certain issues it took me a few months to get through the program and it worked great. As you can see by when I joined there are no limits to the online access to the site or chat room for support you can use the forums and chat as long as you feel you need to. The suggested one week per lesson is great to avoid getting stuck on a lesson you are trying to get perfect (we tend to be perfectionists) but that is ok you dont have to be perfect if you cannot fit in one lesson per week and feel overwelmed do one lesson in 2 weeks and go at your own pace. Just make sure you do it all and all the lessons, all the action assignment and homework and no mattter if it takes you a month or two longer trust me it works and it works well if you work it.
