Hi Milton,

I get it but it comes and goes and I pretty much ignore it! For me it is more annoying than anything. Hope you get more responses that can help. ;)

I too have ringing in my ears. I have had this since I was very young. I notice that it gets worse when I need a chiropractic adjustment and/or when my anxiety gets out of control. I am tense when stressed, anxious and depressed so that tension seems to make the ringing louder.
I have lived with it for years so I have become accustomed to the ringing. I usually have "white noise" around during the night which helps me to sleep or relax with the ringin. Like the fan going, or a small heater in the winter. Or some soft music..
I have heard that ear coning will help with that but I have not yet tried it...too anxious LOL!! But I have heard that the build up of fluid pressure in the ear tubes/canals causes the eardrum to have pressure or something like that which helps create the ringing to be a constant thing..not sure how accurate that is but you may want to research more about it for yourself.

I also have ringing ears and it did begin to scare me after about 3 weeks of constant ringing and I could not figure out if it had to do with my anxiety/depression/stress. Anyway, now it happens from time to time and I read that it is due to wax pushed way up against the ear drum. Obviously, I cleaned my ears until they were bright red. HA. It went away for the most part...although I do not think I have terrible hygiene nor am I insinuating any of you do :) CAN it be related to stress?
