Does anyone else ever have frequent "pulses" in their head during high stress/anxiety situations? I have been experiencing this phenomenon for several years now. The best way to describe it would be to compare it to the ringing sound of a beach ball being smacked. It can be quite disconcerting at times. I have had ct scans, MRIs, x-rays EEGs and none found any abnormalities. Therefore, I have attributed it to my stress/anxiety level. Is this possible? Anyone else out there with this? Please explain.

Hi there,

You may find this forum posting useful, perhaps. Anxiety can produce so many different things in each one of us.

Hi there.. with depression and anxiety, i've learned that anything is possible. since we are all different, we all experience different symptoms. the calming thing about your situation is that you've ran all the tests possible and there were no abnormal findings so that answers your question.. it is the stress, it is the anxiety..

i have personally experience loud ringing in one ear.. at first it freaked me out, but when i started realizing and coming to terms that it's just one of the symptons, it no longer bothers me.. as a matter fact, its been some time since i last heard it..

the best advise i can give you is dont dwell on things and self talk yourself out of it and repeat to yourself that it WILL GO AWAYS and you WILL BE FINE.
hope this helps
