You can do it! Just tell yourself that its the perfect opportunity to practice. Its just a practice opportunity...and whats the worst that can happen, you have a panic attack? So what if you have one, you have the skills to deal with it. If its uncomfortable in the crowd, its only for a few hours and its a temporary situation. Worst come to worst, you might have to go into the bathroom and do your breathing. Also, let your brother know its a big step and that you might get anxious, that way you don't have to worry about trying to hide how you are feeling. But I bet that you will have a great time and be so busy watching the action, you will surprise youself that you forgot you were even anxious. And if you do end up having anxiety, so what, look at what a big step you took! Have a great time....I know you can do it.

From one Lions fan to another.... Go for it you will enjoy yourself.. Keep telling yourself that you are strong and in control. Just think you might be at a history making game (due to the fact they might lose every game this year. lets hope not)

GO FOR IT - YOU CAN DO IT - BELIEVE IN YOU, CAUSE YOU HAVE THE "POWER" W/ IN. Keep feeding yourself that positive self talk - it works. Sweetie, don't believe the lies that ANXIETY DISORDER tells, I beg you. There is a wonderful & beautiful world out there, full of opportunities & experiences,AWAITING YOU to find them. Don't let anxiety disorder deny you of these things - all the things your soul/spirit yearn for.

LionsFan: You will be able to do it. I went to UofM's very first game this year while going through the program. I did great. Just keep positive, reassuring thoughts going...I am calm, I am safe, I am peaceful, I can do this. Stay in the present moment of the game and enjoy yourself.

LionsFan...Look at what you've already accomplished, you're on week 14 and you went by yourself to the doctor!! I am just starting session 3 and you give me hope. You have the tools and you're using them. I say go for it... and then tell us all about it. Im a Bears Fan but I still want you to have a great time. Besides the Lions arent playing the Bears this week....lol

Hi LionsFan,

I'm not a vet but know you have the power to do this. You have stuck with the program and that takes so much self control in itself. Good for you!!

I hope you enjoy every moment of the game and that will be one more huge undertaking to add to the list of accomplishments. Be so very proud of yourself, you have earned it!! :D
