I made it through my doctors appointment after anticipating it for 2 weeks. i was a little disappointed since she couldn't help me and told me to find a mental health professional because she's one of those homeopathic doctors so she doesn't work with antidepressants or anxiety meds. I also did my female exams and got a basic check up but now i'm stressing on the getting the results from my PAP and my blood test, even though i shouldn't have anythng to worry about.

My biggest accomplishment today though was going shopping for the first time in 5 years!! It felt amazing to be out doing something "normal" and being able to pick out my own clothes and try them on. It was great.

Tommorrow when i get up i'm going to start calling around to see if i can find a psychiatrist or someone that can help me.

I was disappointed about my doctor visit, but it's been a wonderful day :D

God Bless You All!

good job CHelsea! I myself have experienced a recent increase in sanity [Go Lexapro] and "luck". It may be that it IS all in our minds.
Keep focusing on the good stuff, and more good stuff will come.

Hello chelsie!Great job!!I'm an agoraphobic too.I also had a DR. appointment earlier this week and made it through!I was freaking out the day before but somehow I pulled it together and made it.Good job for you and me.I'm also waiting for blood test results. This is making me anxious but I'm pushing through.Anyway great job and may God keep giving us the strength to keep moving forward! It feels great to know that we actually can do the things that we've been telling ourselves over and over we can't to this or that doesn't it?WE can and we will!Take care!
