Everybody knows what you're talking about. It seems that no matter what symptoms you have, you always seem to end up with that one too. Just distract yourself by doing anything that'll get your mind off of it. You're okay. It's true but you have to make yourself believe it. It's truly, only anxiety and nothing to be afraid of.

No need to be sorry. I have seen this question come up at least 100 times within the last 4 years. Bewilderment is that feeling where you aren't really where you are, things feel like a dream, you space out and are in a diffrent "time" or situation. It makes it very difficult to stay focused on a conversation or something you read or other things.
Alot of us do have days where it feels non-stop. Even some of us have it non-stop day after day and yes it can be very scary because it seems as though we do not have good control over our lives and that our mind just runs rapid with thoughts and we cannot do anything about it. That my dear is definately anxiety.
deedee00 mentioned a good point to distract yourself and yes this can be effective but It does take a little more then this to get over these feelings. The main reason you have these feelings is because your mind is trying to protect you from going through pain associated to past scary memories and so it goes on many mini-vacations in order to cope as more and mroe situations can become associated with this same set of painful and scary feelings. So what we need to do is learn how to protect ourselves in another way and to turn off the fight or flight response. The program is very very good at doing this as it explains everything you need in order to do this.
You aren't alone.

Thank you. I'm really sorry that you've suffered with this for the last 40 years. I can't say i have suffered that long (i haven't even been on earth that long) but i know what it's like to suffer for a long period of time, it bites. It has taken me a very long time to understand what it ment myself. I think i finally understood it this a few months ago.
Congrats on your progress. Lesson 5 is really great for the body and I really think that it's actually a little down played. From my experience and what i've learned within eastern medicine is that, the quality of the digestive function and exercise play a huge role in our mood and our health.
Keep up the good work, the future is brighter from here on.

Mike is right. You're so not alone in this. I was having this exact same feeling most of last week. I think it's stress. The economy is awful and as a fundraiser, it's really stressing me out. Add that to upcoming holidays, etc. and we're all probably feeling overwhelmed.
