From my elbow down to my hands, i feel like I have muscle weakness, my hands still work, but they feel funny. I don't feel anxious, but the symptoms are getting me that way. I saw a dr. they're referring me to a neurologist. Great!
Always my idea of fun. (sarcasm)
Also my brain isn't as quick as usual, my tongue feels weird. not numb, tingling, somthing inbetween. I'll trade these symtoms for panic attacks anyday. Anyone else dealt w/this?? Anyone found relief??

I'm so glad you posted this. YES! I get this, I feel like my hands, and arms don't want to work at all. Sometimes I feel like I cant even move them, or write. I also have had the tongue thing, and you feel like you can't talk, and the more you read into the symptoms the worse it gets. Then you think your speech is off, you cant think straight, anxiety begins, etc..... vicious cycle huh. I really think it is just anxiety in the back of our minds. It's really good you went to the Doc. Go get the tests, you will feel so much better. I have my physical in 2 weeks, and I'm asking for an mri. Do to the arms, and the feeling in the head. I wish you well, and please let me know how you do at the neurologist. I hope this helps you, to know your not alone.

Howdy
Sorry you two are having those syptoms. I don't know if this has been considered but my bro had similar pain or numbness and it was carpel tunnel and tennis elbow and a pinched nerve in his upper shoulder and back. With a good chiropractor and the minor wrist surgery and he was a okay. Nothing bad like he thought. I hope you will get to feeling better real soon.

I had this same problem! I started feeling tingly in my left arm and hand along with thinking my speech was off. I started Googling signs and symptoms of all sorts of neurological diseases and of course I concluded that I was dying of Lou Gehrig's Disease or Multiple Sclerosis! I made an appointment with a neurologist and shared my fears with her. She did a whole work-up on me, not because she thought I had Lou Gehrig's or MS, but because she knew that the only way I was going to accept not having these diseases was to run the tests. She ordered a MRI, did a neuro exam, and had me come in for a follow up. Everything was normal and I was able to move on. That was two years ago. Every now and then I"ll get that tingly/heavy feeling in my left arm and hand again so I just attribute it to anxiety...
