So my guy friend told me the other day that I am opinionated after I told him I thought these dresses were ugly in a store that we walked by. Since then I havent been able to get it out of my head. IS being opinionated a bad thing? Should I be keeping my opinions to myself? Please help....

You don't need to take his OPINION of you to the Nth level. We all have opinions about things. Tell him thank you.

Hi Jules:
You might get uncomfortable after awhile
from watching too carefully what you say.
I like to hear the opinions of others.

Do you state your opinions forcefully really often? I doubt it.
I would just forget about what your friend said.
He may be opinionated about what you say.

If you can listen to others and do not try to force your opinions on others , then you shouldn't worry. That is my opinion!!

As for some of the latest styles today, well, some of them are pretty ugly (in my opinion).

I think you're okay!

Those of us with anxiety do tend to worry when
others take notice of what we say , or how we do things. We tend to care too much what other people think.

And we are not too good at taking constructive critizisim either.
But with the program we learn how to get some balance in our lives.
I repeat, you'll be okay.
