Any time I start to think about my breathing, I can't seem to breath right. Its as if I'm more out of breath just thinking of how I'm breathing. This happens at different times and I really have to put my mind on something else or it will continue, then I start thinking there something wrong with my heart. Boy, what a cycle, huh? I think its our anxious minds at play again, don't you? I really believe this will pass as soon as we get over all of this nonsense, and I hope it comes sooner than later for both of us. Hang in there, I am too! Suzzie

It's that way for me w/my stomach lately. I had a virus a few weeks ago. Now whenever I think about it, my stomach starts to hurt. What a vicious cycle...You're always wondering, "Is something really wrong this time?"

Sometimes when I am uptight about something, my stomach will hurt. I will pull my stomach in as far as I can and hold, then let it out again. That is what is done on the Relaxation tape and it seems to help.

Paul,
That is exactly what happens to me. I'm fine, then it could be 1 minute later, I start thinking about my breathing, and all of a sudden I'm not breathing right. Its just nuts, all the things we go through! Suzzie

Yes. The same thing happens to me sometimes with my breathing. Sort of a paralysis by analysis type thing. Oy vey.

Distract, distract, distract...

Peace~

It good to know that it will pass. I have gotten shortness of breath since last Sept.
I have been feeling pretty good and my breathing is better but now I get tingling in my face and my arm. like you said right away I want to say what is wrong with me. Today it started to happen and I kept praying and thanking God for everything and before you know I felt so much better.
Good luck guys your not alone if that helps any.
Just know that you got thru it once you will get thru it again till it gets better and better

i mean, what is up?

i constantly marvel at just how powerful the human mind is after going through this garbage!

I totally agree Paul... would be nice if we had a "standby" switch for the mind if we needed it...!
