Out of curiosity, is anyone on disability or know anyone that is on disability for anxiety, depression, or OCD?

Thanks,

I had honestly thought about it for quite some time but I wanted more than anything to work through my issues so I just never bothered with disability. I looked into it but thought against it.
I think it is available though.

It is an anxiety disorder when the anxiety interferes with your life so much that you have difficulty handling day to day tasks. Working is a day to day task. There are many degrees of anxiety. From mild to severe. There are many people that truly cannot work. We should never say that a person should be able to work with anxiety. We don't know because the severity varies from person to person. There's a lot of people on here on disability. It's not a bad thing. I think it's a good thing. It helps people pay their bills while they work on getting better. There was an old thread like this one and there were a lot of people on disability and I think anxiety is a good reason to be on it. I would never say that those people shouldn't be on disability because it's not my say and I don't know their struggles.
