First, Happy Birthday! It will be OK...you have to do what you believe is best for YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

And what a way to start a new year! With a fresh start! I thought your email was appropriate, succinct, direct and yet compassionate. He may be a little hurt, but if he is the person of character that you believe him to be, I don't see any reason why he would behave other than how you have requested.

It will be OK. You made it through everything else, this is just a speed bump, honey! :) Hang in there!

Blessings,
Dawn

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

What a wonderful gift you have already given yourself! To draw boundary lines is such a wonderful way to start the new year for you. You give yourself the gift of assertiveness...that is showing personal respect.

As for the trust issue...how could one trust someone who pursues another while he/she is still in a commited relationship with someone else?

I respect you-don't doubt yourself for a minute. Head up-no victim play-off to work you go. :) Carolyn

Carolyn -- what a joy to hear from you. You have been in my thoughts. And, the fact that I have earned your respect in some little way makes me feel so good. You, your voice and your responses have been a constant form of comfort for me since I began the program and I wanted you to know that.
