I suffer from Anxiety /depression and OCD.

Due to the latest hype about Swine Flu, I have been so upset and scared of it. Myself, Husband and Son got the Vaccine today which I was very relieved. BUT after that a friend told me that some people can develop a severe reaction to this shot (although very rare) and wind up temporarily paralyzed??? I have had a panic attack ALL day about one of us getting this! Can someone please help me with this... I'm so upset.

Please don't worry about H1N1. There's a good article further down on the site that will inform you more. If you're around anyone who has the flu or cold immediately take lots of Vit.C and Echinacea. The pkgs.for liquid drink are now sold at K-marts, Wal-mart and Walgreens. You can take them hot or cold. Don't worry. You and your family will be fine.

Try not to worry and practice your breathing exercises and distract yourself! I got the H1n1 shot on Tuesday and had no reaction at all. Just remember you have done all you can for yourself and your family in protecting yourselves from this virus. You will be fine!

I can't help on the shot part i'm still very undecided on that. but i got the swine flu. my grandson had it first then i got it and ended up in the hospital cus i'm a very high wrist person. take your vit most the c and the other one the others mention and wash hands. and have your family do the same i had 3 other people living in my house that i was worry sick over but when i ended up in the hospital they all got in gear clean took vit and even at my work they did to and noone eles caught it. so just take care of your self and family worrying is not going to help at all except make u sick. then your body defences are down. so keep them up.
