anyone heard that country song? "i just wanna be mad for awhile" well its kind of funny but that is totally how i feel right now. i have had anxiety for about a year and a half and about 2 months ago i was doing really well and thought i was nearly recovered. i have kind of sunk back and the anxiety has returned with a vengance. i'm typically a very upbeat and lighthearted person but sometimes this anxiety thing just makes me nuts... so can i just be mad for awhile?! its so frustrating..

Lacey ~ it's okay! Be mad. There's a line in the movie "Steel Magnolias" that Weezie says...
"I'm not crazy ~ I've just been mad for the past fifty years". Don't we all feel that way sometimes...I do. Hang in there, it WILL get better. Judy ^j^

Lacey..I think it is completely okay to be pissed for a while.. Just get it out of your system.. Keeping those feelings inside can only make things worse..Go for a run or just scream at the top of your lungs.. You will feel better in the end..

It's ok to be mad, but don't let your anger overpower you. Acknowledge it, feel it and then release it and move on. I was stuck in anger for son long, and like the program says, it can lead to depression. Have you done the session on anger yet? It's very helpful.
