Pam: thanks for replying, I have had anxiety and panic attacks for 15 years and have managed it, but lately I feel down in the dumps and very nervous if I am not busy doing something. I am constantly worrying about if Im crazy or what I will do when my parents die. I feel like I am so wrapped up in the gloom and doom of the future that I can't enjoy life now. I have two young daughters and I feel bad that they can't have a mother that doesn't have anxiety. I am in week three of the program and I feel like it has brought out more anxious feelings like "What if this doesn't work, then what?" I am just desperate to feel better . I am so glad that there is a forum like this so that I can see that others are struggling with anxieties. Thanks again . You can write to me anytime also!

Alysa Mae: Thanks for writing back. My mother lives in Gahanna which is close to Columbus! I think that we have probably passed people around town who have anxiety but many are embarassed and don't talk about it . That's what I like about this forum. By the way, I am 27 and have had anxiety and panic attacks since I was 13. I know what its like to be surrounded by friends who don't worry about anything and don't have limitations. It's hard for friends to understand. It is an awful thing. It amazed me when I got the cd's to learn that so many people deal with the same symptoms as I do and that it can be overcome. I can't wait til that day!You can write to me whenever!

Me me me!!! I live in Mansfield!!! I'm live in the Madison area. I had my first panic attack 12 years ago and I'm 29 now. You are not crazy, people with mental illness think they are normal, they never worry that their mental state is abnormal.
Take care,
Ocean
