Now I usually have good summers, but this year, it rained like a drizzle, my dad was working a lot, and I didn't even get to enjoy myself since I worked more than enjoy the pleasures of summer.

And we had to cancel three trips that we would go to, and I even call this the worst summer ever...probably also the worst year ever!

My worst summer ever too. Total falling out with my mother, turned 40, and the kid's fought all the time. To make matters worse, the news was all bad so I couldn't escape into the news like I like to do. Depression is making it hard to enjoy the things I like and the weather was bad. Ugh!! Reminds me of the saying: When you get to the end of your rope, make a knot, and swing! I'm at the end of my rope but I'm not swinging (yet).
