Hello all...I don't know if any of you can relate to this...but I always notice a my obsessiveness, anxiety and irritibility symptoms come out if I miss even for a day the small dose of Paxil I take (5-10 mg- which is half or a whole pill respectively). I become moody...have weird thoughts...get quick to get mad at my girlfriend etc. It almost reminds me of someone who has manic or bipolar symptoms.
Is this just the result of missing the dose?
Really I don't like the idea of putting a chemical (prescription drug) into my body which is why I take a little bit...after consultation with my doctor.
Does this mean that If i stopped the drug altogether I would have these manic symptoms?

I don't think they are manic symptoms at all.How long have you been on the Paxil? It takes about 6 - 8 weeks for it to completely work. If you just started taking it then the sleepiness it causes may be relaxing you and that's why you notice when you miss it.

If you are having that one symptom from missing a dose. that is not manic / bi-polar. I get that way if I miss a dose of Zoloft at times. I also have to take into account how much (or lack of) sleep I have had, what I have been eating, what my activity level has been, my school workload, that also contributes to my mood. If one is loaded on responsibility, lacking in rest &/or a proper diet and misses a dose, I can see where this can cause irritability. I have been there, done that. I too am not too keen on meds, BUT if they help the situation, I am for them. There are some drugs that for me, I would NOT take (or would not like my hubby or step daughter taking) like Rogain, Viagra, accutane, antibiotics for acne for vanity purposes. Also any med that you can try to alter your lifestyle first and under the recommendation and supervision of your doctor, like a med for heartburn, high blood pressure. At times, some ailments can be altered with diet and excercise, but as always consult with your doctor and be honest with them.

This is help the situation for which to take
Generic accutane is used to treat severe type of acne. You have to notified swollen lumps. That is Nodular acnes are swollen lumps that are formed due to large amounts of facial oil production.
