I listened to the advice of this program and cut out caffeine from my diet. I have also been fighting acid reflux so I needed to get rid of the caffeine at any rate. I had some headaches at first, (even though my caffeine intake was not very high to begin with) but I go through them. My anxiety has been so much better lately, until I most recently started worrying about every pain and body ache I have. I have been thinking about worst case scenarios too often. So my sinus or ear related headache I have had the past few days has been stressing me out a bit. Today it was getting nasty so I took 2 excedrin migrane pills. I have taken 1 recently, but it has been a while since I have taken 2. It really worked great, and then about 2.5-3 hours later I found myself shaking. My teeth were chattering, I was really jittery, and my body was shaking a bit. It is like when you have the chills and a fever, except I had no fever. I was starting to panic when I remembered that excedrin has caffeine in them. Since my body is not used to caffeine anymore is it possible that the headache medicine could give me the jitters 2 to 3 hours after taking them? Anyone else experience this before?

Yep! I didn't realize how much caffeine Excedrine had in it (65mg- which is almost a small coffee). For someone who has cut back on their caffeine intake, this can cause panic. I took 2 one night without realizing it and had a full blown attack!

I can never take 2. I only take 1 in the a.m. and can only have one cup of tea, instead of my usual two. That's what my limit is- it's all about what finding out what yours is- also I can not take them after 11 a.m.

I am unable to take Excedrine also without feeling like a nervous wreck.

I can't have caffeine at all. Excedrin drives me through the roof! Thank God there are plenty of other pain relievers, soft drinks, etc.!! It's amazing what caffeine does to us. I would really like a cup of "real" tea right now!! Take good care of yourself.

Yeah, never would have thought caffeine does so much to so many of us.
