I didnt know where to put this question.
I bought my program about 8 years ago and it came in cassets. Is there a way to get the cds without ordering the whole program again?
what will it cost?

I reordered the CDs years later just to see if they were different and although basically they are the same they do have some added information such as the DVDs that go with each session where Lucinda talks to you about the lesson in her own words and experiences.

I think I did end up getting my second set 1/2 off becuase they were running a special at that time but still it was a couple hundred dollars. For me the program is priceless so the money was not a huge deturant for me....However I have noticed that the program is sold on Ebay. Maybe an option for you!

Thanks i never thought of ebay.

IM starting to have PANIC problems again and thought i would start listening to them and i have no casset player.

it would have been nice to trade them in for a small fee, i have the order receipt with my name on it.

I've have the program 2 years now and it was pretty helpful for me. I'm starting to get some of the old feelings back so I thought I should break out the CD's again. I had read somewhere a while back that they were recorded many years ago, for instance, Lucinda's daughter that sounds pretty young is actually in her 20's now. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows if the program gets updated periodically or is it still the same series of tapes. Either way, I think it's a good program but was just wondering.....

I ordered my program back in '98 and mine is the cassettes also. I have spoke with others in the chatroom about their programs which are fairly new and from what I have seen so far is that it is all basically the same thing. I know the titles of each chapter are the same or at least the ones I have asked about are. I am so ashamed of myself because I have never gotten through the whole program yet but with this being my 3rd time and just finishing chapter 9 I am bound and determined to do it this time. I meant to add that with my package I got several vcr tapes and extra cassettes including the relaxation tape. Lucinda takes me through each and every chapter as well as has groups of people sharing their experiences which I love to hear. It helps me to feel not so alone with the Agoraphobia, depression, panic, and anxiety.

God bless,
Susan

If you have a cassette player with an earphone plugin and a pc with microphone plugin you can use a connection between the two to record the tapes onto pc, then burn them to cd. You can get a tape player for around $25 or $30.

They do not update the lessons. They slip in a few things in the 1st session mentioning the support forum, etc. I had done the program a long time ago and was disappointed when I received the CDs and they were still mentioning that this is the 90s...LOL. So your cassettes are no different than the CDs. The only difference is the relaxation CD. When I did the program years ago the relaxation tape was different and I actually prefer the old one. And yes, you can buy the program on ebay for a lot less...wish I had looked into that before I bought directly from them. I also noticed that you can download the sessions off of a music audio website, like Ares for little or nothing.

I agree with you sml, it is the same tapes. I had the ones from 1998, bought a set last year on CD from StressCenter, and it is the same, as you said, it does mention the support fourm. When Lucinda, Dr. Fisher, and the group start to talk, it is the same as 1998.
I also thought, it would have been updated. The workbook is the same, except it comes in a smaller book, you can carry around alot easier, and each book has either three or four lessons in it.
The relaxation tape from 1998, is the same.
If it was me, I would just buy an cassette player, and save me some money, since the cassettes are the same this year, as the year you bought it.
