Sometimes I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach, its kind of like a burst of warmth or something, it freaks me out!!! Is this part of anxiety??

It is definitely an anxiety symptom. I got it just last night. It feels weird like I'm about to have indigestion or some kind of stomach problem but nothing ever really happens. Just ignore it it will go away. It doesn't really bother me anymore. I've had so many anxiety symptoms so I just don't worry about them too much anymore.

Definitely sounds like anxiety!!

I'll tell you I was in a situation where I had a RUN for my life. I was out of shape and a smoker at the time. I don't think I've ever run so fast in my entire life. Barefoot, THRU the woods. I didn't care what I was stepping on...I gunned it. When I stopped I thought I was going to throw up.

I've had this feeling too. Sometimes though I get it even when I get really excited & nervous at the same time, so I think this is a common feeling all around ~ even for those who don't have anxiety. But yes, I do get it when I'm having the unpleasant anxiety too.

Our bodies can be so weird sometimes lol

WOW! Healthy me. Your story sounds EXACTLY like what I went through some years ago. Mine happened at night and to this day I get a little extra-cautious at night. Boy! How circumstances can change you. I use to love the night time.

Yep I get it too when I'm thinking too much or upset about anything. If I'm calm and not feeling anxious it isn't present...thank God for those good times!!
I also get what feels like I have a big old woolen sock in my stomach and it's also when I'm worrying or upset. So many body symptoms to contend with but it gets better as you work through the sessions and the good times become more frequent. I promise it will happen...but there are ups and downs along the road so just try to remember a bad day or so will once again end becoming more and more great days.

God Bless!

I had that all the time when my anxiety was bad. It still happens when something scares me or startles me. It is a natural reaction of the human body. Do not fear.
