Hi Satu,
Well, I want to share with you that I'm in a 'relapse' right now. And you said it yourself that you're way better off now with the skills you've learned than you were before. That's one thing I'm reminding myself of right now as well. Another thing, remember Lucinda said that we might have these "bumps in the road" but we're better equipped to handle them now and that they could be looked at as learning experiences. If you have the program, go through it again or atleast get to the sessions that help you deal with what if thinking and obssevive thoughts. I am going through the program again, and so it can only get better from here and that's it. And each time these bumps happen, even if I have to go over the program 20 times, each time will get easier and easier until hopefully no more. And you're worth the techniques Hon, don't give in and get the fighter attitude. Be gentle on yourself, compassionate- you've been through a lot and it's not going to happen over night. We're all here- S.P.

I have to say I haven't read anyone elses post but I just wanted to share a few things. 1) I don't think there is one person in here who has felt better after the program who hasn't thought of this on more than one ocassion. This is totally normal, so you aren't alone. 2) when I expressed this concern with my MIL who also has anxiety issues she told me this "if you are that afraid to go back to where you were...you'll never go back there" The more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me...so whenever I have any doubt, I try to say that to myself.

Anxiety will never go away...its a part of life and growth spurts are going to be there always...but with everyone we go through, we get that much stronger.

Much luck to you :)

I applaud you for your bravery to speak up about these difficult issues in a public forum.
