It's been a long time since I've been here, but I'm feeling lost today and need some support. I have completed the program and was doing really well until I put myself back into the dating scene. I recently joined one of those online dating services but it's been the worst thing for me. The constant rejection has caused my anxiety to rear its ugly head again and I'm feeling lost. I've gotten my tapes back out and they are helping some but I just feel so discouraged.

Hi! Cheer up, you're not alone. I just received the program and haven't even looked at the intro video yet but I'm going to later tonight. I can relate to the experiences you've had with the dating rejection. It has reached the point with me that I don't even do it anymore because I know how it will turn out. I don't want to set myself up like that anymore! As far as advice, I wish I had some for you. Maybe it just means you're not ready yet. Give it some time and the time will emerge. Just know that I understand totally the fear and frustration you're feeling. Until I began this process, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to feel this way...that there was something better for me. Hang in there!! You are loved!

jugray,
dont give up! Love is to important. Maybe on line dating isn't for you. Try it the old fashion way it may take you out of your comfort zone but then you can use what you learned from the program to get THROUGH it. After a bad marriage I never thought I would find someone that would be everything to me but I did. God sent him to me and my children. Good Luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

Maybe online dating isn't for you and hey if you feel like they are rejecting you then you dont need them. Last time I checked love was unconditional and ever lasting. Try the old fashion way and use the skills you learned in the program to help you THROUGH it. Good Luck and God Bless

There's nothing new under the sun, as they say.
In recent years, I;ve thought I had triumphed too, only to relapse repeatedly. I have had a good few months lately [even my "luck" has changed, i keep winning things] but I'm still suspicious that anx/dep will again, to quote you...
-rear its ugly head-
again.
Best wishes...load up on positive thoughts.
Schedule some ME time. It helps to be selfish sometimes.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've decided to take myself off of match because it did create anxiety. I just need to hold on to the belief that God has someone out there for me. I need to make myself available emotionally and physically (but with no added stress).
