Hi everyone... For the last week or so ,I literally have gotten NO SLEEP. It sucks. I feel like I have been lying wide awake.. I'm in school, and i have been finding it SOOO hard to concentrate. I can't study because I'm just thinking, not focused at all, and classes are soo hard to pay attention in. Last night I listened to the relaxation tape at like 3 in the morning and that helped fall asleep, but then I always still wake up early. I hate it, what should I do

Hi,

I was going through the insomnia for years off and on, more on actually. I could not shut my mind off or if I did finally fall asleep it just took a slight noise or movement to start my heart and mind racing and I was up for the night. At that time I was on an AD, pain meds and over the counter sleep aids, nothing worked.

I have been off all meds now for about 4 months and taking calcium with zinc and magnesium 3 times per day, SAM e..1 per day, and 3000IU of vitamin D per day. I fall asleep fast and sleep at least 8 hours per night. I also have 2 small glasses of orange juice..1 before bed.
Calcium and vitamin C supposedly aid with sleep and I can't argue that point. My mother went from sleeping 2-3 hours at most a night and is now sleeping 6-8 hours and is taking the same as I am.
Just my experience and loving it!!

Good Luck I know it really sucks to not sleep at night.
