Does anyone know how to contact Carolyn Dickman? I clicked on the link at the top of the page listing the moderators and sent her a private message about the middle of last month. I sent another message about five days later and still haven't gotten a reply. Any suggestions?

Given that she's the Education Director for StressCenter.com she's probably hammered with work. Is it possible your question could be answered by anyone else in the organization?

Searunner,

I had been having trouble getting the newsletter Less Stress Press e-mails and had talked to Carolyn about it in May of last year. I called the number in our workbook last month and the woman on the phone said Carolyn has been semi-retired for a while. She said Carolyn works in a different satellite office from her. So i can't tell you how to contact her, just that it seems she has pulled back to a more limited role. Too bad--I really like her!!

As far as I know, her e-mail address was carolyn@stresscenter.com.

Thanks for the replies. Any idea who I can contact in lieu of Carolyn? I have a question specifically related to use of this website.

Many thanks,
Jamie

I have called 'program specialists" two or three times with a website question and they tell me they have absolutely no way to correct it or contact anyone in charge of the website. They always direct me to e-mail the webmaster at support@stresscenter.com. The webmaster has never answered me. I have a feeling our website is probably set-up overseas somewhere--but that is only a supposition.

So I have gone to the section at the end of the forums, between the first forum and where the monthly forums start. I think it is called Admin and something else. I have posted my question there and they have always answered me in a couple of days.

Hope it helps. I know it can be frustrating when you need a question answered and cannot find anyone to help you.

Hey Jaimie,

I just looked for you and it is called Website/Technical. It is right under chronic disease suffers on the first page.

Thanks for the info, Samcat. The only issue is that I don't want to post my question in the public section. I was hoping I could use the private messaging feature or email.

Yesterday when I was reading posts, I saw one by EddyJ under the topic Jan1,2010-3good things. It was on page 2. Eddy said he had received an encouraging email from Carolyn with a recommended reading list. He posted it Jan 4. Maybe you could private message him and ask him how he contacts her.

When I saw it, I thought about you, but did not know you wanted your question private, so I just let it go.

Maybe this will work. Hope so!

It shouldn't be so hard for us to get in touch with our Education Director!

Jamie,

Thought about your predicament some more. I would try e-mailing Carolyn again. Her e-mail is carolyn@stresscenter.com. Maybe she has been on an extended holiday and your message is buried in her in-box. My husband is a corporate executive and if he goes on vacation, he literally has hundreds of e-mail messages, even when he takes his laptop with him and stays in touch.

I have gotten a handwritten note from Carolyn and she has even called me about my problem of not getting the online e-mails. She is a wonderful lady and believe me, she is not ignoring you on purpose. If she has sent EddyJ an e-mail, then she is probably back from her vacation.

I think I may have come across my error. I used the link for the page moderator, which has the user name "Carolyn Dickman". However, I noticed that her recent replies use the name "CarolynEd.Dir.". I'm going to try contacting her through that user name. Perhaps the other is an old account.
